Terms of Use

You must be 18 or older. These terms are an agreement between you and Oles Didukh, trading as Etappi.

Etappi offers self-help tools based on cognitive behavioral therapy, for education and everyday coping. Etappi is not therapy, is not a medical device, and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or advice.

Etappi is not for emergencies and no one monitors what you write. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number or use the crisis lines in the app.

Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

New accounts can start a free 14-day trial without a card (a code from a clinician or a campaign can give a different length). The trial ends on its own: you are never charged unless you choose a plan. When it ends, the tools that need a plan lock; crisis help, your safety plan and the free tools stay available.

Annual and monthly plans are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no renewals. A plan unlocks the app on every platform you sign in on.

To cancel a plan bought on our website, use Settings → Billing in the app or on the website (one tap). To cancel a plan bought through Apple or Google, use the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Web purchases are sold by our online reseller Paddle.com. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Etappi, the product Paddle sells, is provided by Oles Didukh, trading as Etappi.

You can ask for a refund of a web purchase within 14 days by emailing us, and we will arrange it through Paddle. Purchases made through Apple or Google follow their refund rules. Our Refund Policy has the details.

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what law permits.

What you write is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the app to you.

The app, its text and design belong to us. GAD-7 and PHQ-9 are used under their free-use terms.

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

We may update these terms; material changes are shown in the app before they apply. You may stop using the app at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's place of establishment, without removing the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
